Khorasaneh Dam was built in Bukan in order to utilize the irrigation capacity of Sardarabad River drainage basin. This dam irrigates the agricultural lands of Tazeh Qaleh, Utmish, Ali Kand, and Aspugheh with a total area of two thousand hectares in normal conditions. Completion of the drainage system shall increase the coverage area to eight thousand hectares.
In order help completing the unfinished projects of the region, Ghal Co. completed the attached structures, including weir, stilling basin, and connecting bridge of Khorasaneh Dam in less than six months with the highest quality. Completion of these structures prepared the ground for operation of this dam.
