Due to important and urgency of the project, construction of the downstream waterfront bridge, with a length of 200 m and width of 6 m, was carried out in wintertime, at a temperature of -30°C. The most important operations of the project were diverting the river, drying the foundation bed, concrete operations, backfilling the bridge piers, asphalting the bridge and waterfront crest, construction of the retaining wall, construction of emergency parking area, installation of guardrails etc.
