Main Project Objectives
- Preventing extension of sea water salinity to Bahmashir river and its negative effects on palm groves and agricultural lands of Abadan Island
- Improvement and development of agriculture and fish farming
- Maintaining the shipping capacity and promoting the potential of developing large industries along the river
Project Location
The project is located in Khuzestan Province, near Chavibdeh Port, in a distance of 45Km from Abadan. Width of the river at the project site is more than 220 meters.
