Restoration and refurbishment of the diversion dam in order to elevate the water level for continuous irrigation of agricultural lands in all seasons, controlling the river flow regime, controlling the floods, and limited protection of urban areas; restoring canals and correcting cross sections of the canals derived from Shahrchay River, gravity irrigation of irrigation lands using intake and stone canals covered by concrete slabs; construction of overpass bridges on the said canals in order to develop a modern irrigation and drainage grid; and preventing waste of water are the most important aspects and goals of this project.
